About Steven Hoefer
Steven Hoefer was born on a farm and lives in the city. He makes things with his imagination and his hands. When writing doesn't engage his hands enough he invents whimsical—and occasionally useful—gadgets, and shares them with the world. Things he's created have been seen in Popular Science, featured in the New York Times, and TV around the world, as well as worthwhile places both big and small.
He lives in the Midwest United States with his partner, son, and cat. He greatly appreciates a well-designed tool and toast, though rarely at the same time.
If you choose to sign up for the email list:
- I will, about once a month, email you a newsletter with interesting things.
- I will not sell, trade, or otherwise let anyone else see your email address. I hate it when others do that to me, so I won't do it to you.
If you've signed up, and you're into that, you can immediately remove your email address from the mailing list here.
I like to know that people are reading, and love for you to leave an honest review. But basically I don't care beyond that and I'm not going to go looking. I don't collect data on who clicks buy buttons, but I do get regular reports on how many copies are sold from merchants:
