About Steven Hoefer

Steven is a creative swashbuckler who studied writing at the University of Iowa before realizing that way no way to make a living and the internet was the future.

Later it turned out that sharing upbeat visions of the future was more important than the internet, and so returned to writing. It's still no way to make a living.

Steven has had work featured in print, TV, stage, and even radio if you remember what that is.

Mailing List

My mailing list is currently on hiatus.
If you have signed up to the mailing list in the past know that:

• I will not sell, trade, or otherwise let anyone else see your email address. I hate it when others do that to me, so I won't do it to you.
• The mailing list was previously managed by MailChimp. I have deleted my account there and they have said they deleted all of my data, including my mailing lists. Here is MailChimp's privacy policy.
  If you would like your email address removed, email me and I'll remove you from any future mailings.

Purchases

I like to know that people are reading, and love for you to leave an honest review. But basically I don't care beyond that and I'm not going to go looking. I don't collect data on who clicks buy buttons, but I do get regular reports on how many copies are sold from merchants.
