Faults of Perception (Embassy Book 2) Now Available

For those of you who are anxious to get your virtual hands on the second Embassy book, Faults of Perception is now available for the Kindle (and those who are unafraid to convert kindle books to another format).

Book two once again finds Earth's junior ambassador in the middle of a meeting with aliens that goes terribly wrong. And that's before the assasin sends a bullet into the get-together. From there things get complicated. The Embassy is too mired in internal power struggles to effectively hunt an assassin, one who might have ties within the organzaion itself. It's up to Benjmain and a small group of allies to root out the assassin before they provoke a war with an extraterrestrail we know nothing about.

Clash of Cultures Paperback Now Available (and other updates)

For those of you who really want paper and ink in your hands, the paperback version of Clash of Cultures is now available. It has everything that the ebook has, plus several ounces of paper and ink. (I think it looks quite snazzy, but of course I would.) If you want the digital version as well, you can save a couple dollars by buying both.

Meanwhile Embassy Book 2, Faults of Perception, is getting formatted and should be available later this week. Book 3 (Shards of Loyalty) has jsut returned from my editor and is nicely spruced up from its time away. Look for it mid-December.

Clash of Cultures Now Available

Clash of Cultures, the kickoff novella to my new series is (finally!) available for your reading pleasure.

The Embassy was created to talk to the four-dozen extraterrestrial races that suddenly appeared in Earth orbit. They didn't have much luck, the aliens didn't want to talk. That is until junior ambassador Benjamin Taylor manages to coax one of them down for a dinner date. Things don't go smoothly, though, and pretty soon Benjamin finds out the aliens aren't here for the food.

The initial novella in the Embassy series is a fast paced, fun, adventure, set in the near future. Come along with Benjamin Taylor as he meets weird aliens and finds unexpected peril, for himself and the planet.

At the moment it's only available as an Amazon ebook, but other formats, including paperback, are incoming in the next few weeks. If you're a Kindle Unlimited or Amazon Prime member, you can read it for free. It's also DRM-free, so you can do whatever you want with your ebook once you buy it.

Embassy Book Three Off To The Copyeditor

95,859 words later*, the third embassy book is in the hands of my wonderful copyeditor, and cover art is in progress. I'm really happy with how this one came out. We really find out something ver significant about what the Extras are up to, and we meet several new aliens that I'm really happy with. And of course we get to throw our protagonist into new and sometimes awful situations in the name of keeping the planet safe. The finished book will be available in all the usual place around the end of the year.

*Not counting the 45,000+ words I deleted when I decided I was going the wrong direction.
